Provided is a method for manufacturing a toner supply roller which excels in toner transportation and toner scraping performance of unwanted toner while being capable of solving the problems that arise in die forming. The method for manufacturing the toner supply roller comprises: an insertion process for inserting a roller material (10) which has a shaft (11) and a columnar elastic layer (12) made of a foam supported on the outer periphery of the shaft into a cylindrical former (m) the inner surface of which has an irregular uneven profile or a recessed groove along the longitudinal direction; a transfer process for heating the roller material inserted into the cylindrical former to transfer the irregular uneven profile or the recessed groove along the longitudinal direction on the inner surface of the cylindrical former to the surface of the roller material; and a pick up process for picking up the roller material having the irregular uneven profile or the recessed groove along the longitudinal direction transferred to the surface thereof to acquire a roller.
