Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a transparent thin-film solar cell assembly, such as a copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) solar cell and a copper zinc tin sulfide (CZTS) solar cell. The method comprises: performing transparency processing on a thin-film solar cell assembly by means of a first laser, and after completing transparency processing, performing insulation scribing at two sides of a transparent region by means of a second laser. The method resolves an issue in which a thin-film solar cell having opaque metal rear contacts cannot be manufactured as a transparent assembly. The method uses the second laser to perform insulation scribing at two sides of a transparent region to remove all film layers above a Mo layer of the rear contacts, thereby preventing a potential short-circuit issue within the cell resulting from transparency processing, and improving the reliability and the yield rate of transparency processing. Furthermore, the invention uses laser scribing to provide an adjustable transparency ratio, and the process is easily repeated, thereby improving the stability of manufacturing, and reducing manufacturing and maintenance costs.
