Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a turbine wheel exhibiting excellent dimensional precision. A method for manufacturing a turbine wheel comprises a step for cutting a sintered compact having a shape approximate to that of a desired final product, produced by metal powder injection molding, and a step for pressing the sintered compact. At the step for cutting, a shaft coupling portion for inserting the distal end of a rotor shaft is formed by machining on the bottom of a central shaft portion, and at the step for pressing, a plurality of correction pins arranged radially relative to a fixed sintered compact are slid toward the central shaft portion of the sintered compact while being synchronized simultaneously, and each correction pin is press-inserted toward the central shaft portion, along each blade surface, such that each blade is held from the opposite sides.
