Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an ultra-high-strength specials tube, capable of easily absorbing shock, for an automobile reinforcement material, the method comprising: a hollow steel tube preparation step of preparing a hollow steel tube, the interior of which is penetrated; a drawing step of drawing the hollow steel tube to have a predetermined deformed shape; a cutting step of cutting the drawn hollow steel tube to have a predetermined length; a heating step of heating the hollow steel tube cut to have the predetermined length, at the temperature of 950℃ or higher for 5 minutes; a die quenching step of inserting the heated hollow steel tube into a press die so as to press-mold and simultaneously cool the hollow steel tube; and a tempering step of re-heating, at a predetermined temperature, the hollow steel tube having gone through the die quenching step, so as to temper the hollow steel tube.
