Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an unsaturated hydrocarbon and an oxygenated compound that comprises a first step wherein a catalyst, which has been prepared by supporting iron in a carrier that contains manganese and the average pore diameter of which is 2-100 nm, is dispersed in poly-α-olefin and the catalyst is reduced by means of carbon monoxide or a synthetic gas, and a second step wherein a synthetic gas and the post-reduction catalyst of the first step are brought into contact at a reaction temperature of 100-600°C and a reaction pressure of 0.1-10 MPa to produce a reaction product which contains an unsaturated hydrocarbon and an oxygenated compound.
