Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a valve housing for a pressure adjustment valve whereby a molding device (61), which demarcates a cavity (64) corresponding to a valve housing (36) comprising a tubular part (36a) and an end wall part (36b), is provided with a circular gate (67), which opens at an outer end surface (64a) of the cavity (64) corresponding to the end wall part (36b), and is oriented toward an inner end surface (64b) of the cavity, and a synthetic resin (70) in which short fibers (69) are combined is injected into the cavity (64) from this circular gate (67), thereby causing this synthetic resin (70) to collide with the inner end surface (64b) and then to fill each part of the cavity (64). Thus, it is possible to provide a manufacturing method with which no weld line is generated and with which a valve housing can be effectively strengthened by means of short fibers, when a valve housing is formed by injection molding.
