Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a vibration control device in which the body part (20) and the stopper parts (22) of a rubber-like elastic body (14) are formed of different elastomer materials, comprising the steps of forming, in the core part (62) of a molding die (50), a seal surface (64) sealing a clearance between a first cavity space (58) forming the body part and a second cavity space (60) forming the stopper parts by abutting on the inner peripheral surface of an outer tube (12), forming a groove (66) in the seal surface, and filling the elastomer materials (E1, E2) in the groove in the state of the seal surface allowed to abut on the inner peripheral surface of the outer tube, whereby the elastomer material filled in one cavity space can be prevented from being invaded into the other cavity space beyond the seal surface.
