A vulcanizing device is provided with a vulcanizing container for vulcanizing a green tire, and also with a suction line for sucking gas within the vulcanizing container after the vulcanizing container is opened. In comparison with the case in which, only before the vulcanizing container is opened, the gas within the vulcanizing container is sucked and then the atmospheric air is introduced into the vulcanizing container, oily smoke which is produced when vulcanized rubber is separated from the bladder and the inner wall of the mold can be efficiently discharged.
