Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a water repellent forming fabric and a water repellent forming fabric. The method comprises: a raw yarn dyeing step for dyeing a raw yarn containing a natural fiber; a knitting step for obtaining a forming fabric by making the dyed raw yarn; a water repellent liquid dipping step for dipping the forming fabric into water repellent liquid; an incomplete drying step for drying the forming fabric processed in the water repellent liquid dipping step; a heat setting step for applying heat to the forming fabric processed in the incomplete drying step to stick the water repellent liquid to the forming fabric; a water washing step for washing the forming fabric processed in the heat setting step using water; and a drying step for drying the forming fabric processed in the water washing step. In the water repellent forming fabric according to the present invention formed as described above, the water repellent liquid is permeated and stuck into a tissue of the raw yarn constituting the forming fabric, so that the forming fabric has excellent air permeable water repellency and the air permeable water repellency is maintained for a long time. Further, the water repellent liquid can be stuck selectively on both surfaces or one outer surface of the forming fabric, so that even when long underwear is made using the forming fabric, the long underwear can be comfortably worn without a decrease in wearability.
