Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for manufacturing a zeolite membrane structure in which membrane defects can be minimized. [Solution] A method for manufacturing a zeolite membrane structure (10) is provided with: a step for forming a first zeolite membrane (30) on a porous support body (20); a step for immersing the porous support body (20) on which the first zeolite membrane (30) is formed for at least five minutes in a second zeolite membrane formation solution having a temperature of 10-70°C and a pH of at least 10; and a step for causing the porous support body (20) on which the first zeolite membrane (30) is formed to be subjected to hydrothermal synthesis while immersed in the second zeolite membrane formation solution, and thereby forming a second zeolite membrane (40) on the first zeolite membrane (30). The first zeolite membrane (30) and the second zeolite membrane (40) share at least one composite building unit constituting a skeleton structure.
