Abstract:
The invention is applied to a system comprising multiple hydraulic shovel (1) placed in a work field and a base station (16). Each hydraulic shovel (1) has a storage unit (memory (402)), a control unit (CPU (401)) for executing a work action and inputting a machine state variable of the work action and a communication unit (42). The base station (16) has a communication unit (16a), a management server (17) for identifying the machine number of a hydraulic shovel (1) and communicating information, and a database (18) where various sets of information are stored. The control unit of the hydraulic shovel (1) communicates with the management server (17) of the base station (16). In such a system structure, the control unit measures the duration during which the machine state variable satisfies a predetermined condition, stores it in the storage unit, and sends the data on the measured duration to the management server (17) of the base station (16) on condition that the power supply key is off. The management server (17) receives data on the measured duration and calculates the accumulated operation hours. The data on the machine state variable and events stored in the storage unit of the hydraulic shovel (1) is sent to the base station (16). The management server (17) of the base station (16) stores the data on the machine state variable and events in the database (18) in a predetermined format.
