Abstract:
Provided is a method for measuring the brightness of a light-emitting display panel that measures the brightness of each light-emitting pixel of the display panel, which has multiple light-emitting pixels arranged two-dimensionally at fixed intervals, using an imaging element, which has multiple light-receiving elements arranged two-dimensionally at fixed intervals. An optical lens is arranged between the light-emitting panel and the imaging element. The disclosed method includes: a step (S11) where the distances between the light-emitting display panel, the imaging element and the optical lens are adjusted so that the interval of the image of the multiple light-emitting pixels, which passes through the optical lens and is formed on the light-receiving surface of the imaging element, is an N-multiple (where N is a natural number) of the interval of the light-receiving elements; a step (S12) where a display pattern, in which specific light-emitting pixels, from among the multiple light-emitting pixels, are made to emit light and the light-emitting pixels that neighbour these specific pixels are not made to emit light, is displayed on the light-emitting display panel; and steps (S13, S14, S17) where the brightness of the light-emitting pixels that are emitting light is detected by the multiple light-receiving elements.
