Abstract:
Provided is a relative delay measurement method wherein two or more different original signals are output to two or more transmission systems from two or more sound generators, the sounds from the transmission systems are received by a common receiver, impulse responses are calculated from the responses to the two or more received original signals, time differences are determined from the calculated impulse responses corresponding to each sound generator, and a relative delay time using one sound generator as a reference is determined regardless of whether the reproduction system and measurement system are synchronized or unsynchronized. Additionally, provided is a relative delay measurement method wherein signals having no mutual correlation are used as the two or more source signals, and a relative delay time using one sound generator as a reference is determined.
