Abstract:
Provided are a measurement method capable of more simply and accurately measuring resistance to getting over a support roller while a conveyor belt is in operation, and a device therefor. An evaluation subject (S) formed by a cut sample of a conveyor belt is mounted on a flat substrate (10) with an inner periphery-side cover rubber layer located on the upper side, a support roller (4) mounted in a frame (2) is horizontally pulled and rolled in the longitudinal direction of the evaluation subject (S) by pulling the frame (2) by a wire (7) while the support roller (4) is pressed vertically downward against the upper surface of the evaluation subject (S) at a preset pressure (P) using a pneumatic cylinder (3) without substantial deformation of the outer peripheral surface thereof, and tensile force (T) in a horizontal direction measured at this time by a tensile force sensor (6) connected to the wire (7) is evaluated as resistance to getting over support roller.
