Abstract:
Provided are: a method for measuring a substance of interest, said method having excellent measurement sensitivity, measurement range, and cost performance as a method for measuring a substance of interest present in a test sample; a capture carrier; a measurement kit; and a method for manufacturing a measurement reagent. Provided is a method for measuring a substance of interest present in a test sample, said method for measuring a substance of interest comprising: (1) a step for bringing a capture carrier in which a capture molecule capable of capturing the substance of interest and a carrier are linked by a bioorthogonal reaction into contact with the test sample in a solvent so as to cause the capture molecule to capture the substance of interest; and (2) a step for measuring the substance of interest by measuring the capture carrier in which the capture molecule has captured the substance of interest.
