Abstract:
A method of measuring viscosity and a viscosity measuring device wherein positive feedback of the vibration velocity of a vibrating body (1) located in the fluid to be measured allows for feedback control of an actuator (6), the vibration state of the vibrating body (1) is monitored while increasing a velocity feedback gain Cc, the velocity feedback gain Cc is obtained when the vibrating body (1) vibrates, within the vibration limit, as the vibration limit gain Cc*, and this vibration limit gain Cc* is defined as the equivalent viscosity value representing the viscosity level of the fluid to be measured.
