Abstract:
An efficient method of adding water to a mixture of a powder raw material formed from particles and a liquid raw material. In a conventional technique, both materials are first mixed to produce un-uniform material bonding, and then the mixture is agitated for uniform bonding. Such inefficiency is eliminated by adding a particulate liquid raw material from the side of a rotation shaft to a powder raw material that is rotated along the inner wall of a hollow cylinder. Powder raw material is rotated along the inner wall of a hollow cylinder by acceleration produced at rotation blades that reach the powder raw material rotating along the hollow- cylinder inner wall. The rotation shaft produces acceleration at the tip portions or side end portions of blades that do not to reach the powder raw material. The acceleration causes the liquid raw material that is released from the tip portions or side end portions to be turned into particles. The liquid raw material turned into particles is added from the rotation shaft side to the powder raw material rotating along the hollow-cylinder inner wall. A bonded object whose mass was increased by the bonding of the liquid raw material with a rotation shaft-side layer of the powder raw material along the hollow-cylinder inner wall moves to the inner wall side. An un-bonded portion with small mass of the powder raw material appears in the surface layer of the powder material on the rotation shaft side and is efficiently bonded to the particulate liquid raw material.
