METHOD AND MOBILITY MANAGEMENT ENTITY FOR ACQUIRING BEARER STATUS AT THE TIME OF USER EQUIPMENT SWITCHING

A method for acquiring the bearer status at the time of user equipment switching is disclosed by the invention. The method includes: at the time of user equipment switching, a target base station executes acceptance judgment for a user equipment (UE) according to the received bearer information of the UE, determines the bearer which is accepted, and informs the mobility management entity（MME）of the accepted bearer; the MME updates the User Equipment-Aggregate Maximum Bit Rate （UE-AMBR） which is used by the target base station, according to the received information indicating the bearer accepted by the target base station. A mobility management entity is also disclosed by the invention, and the entity enables the target side to obtain the actual bearer status at the time of user equipment switching.
