Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for modifying measurement configuration in long term evolution (LTE) system. The method includes: when an evolved NodeB (eNB) configures the measurement configuration information for a user equipment (UE), if the measurement configuration information corresponding to the measurement identity of the UE is modified, the UE is indicated to: firstly delete all of the former measurement object information and reporting configuration information corresponding to the measurement identity, then add the modified measurement object information and reporting configuration information corresponding to the measurement identity. The present invention also discloses a corresponding apparatus. The present invention saves the memory space of eNB, simplifies the processing flow of eNB, and also simplifies the processing flow of UE at the same time.
