Abstract:
A method for modifying performance of a rotor profile by adjusting meshing line segments, comprising the following steps: step 1, dividing a meshing line of a bilateral profile into 8 functional segments; step 2, constructing each functional segment by using a cubic NURBS curve; and step 3, locally adjusting the functional segments of the meshing line by adjusting a control point or a weight factor of the NURBS curve, and observing the corresponding change of the rotor profile so as to adjust corresponding geometrical parameters. The method is flexible and convenient in design means, the change of the profile is controlled by adjusting the free curve, and the change trend of the male and female rotor profiles, particularly the change trend of the leakage triangle, the contact line length, the inter-tooth space and the area utilization coefficient, is observed by locally adjusting the meshing line with reference to the correspondence between the meshing line and the rotor profile, so that the design efficiency of the rotor profile of a twin-rotor screw compressor can be improved, and therefore the defect that a profile cannot be locally modified in the conventional rotor profile design can be overcome.
