Abstract:
Provided by the present invention are a method for monitoring the data traffic of an intelligent terminal, and a monitoring device, comprising the following steps: acquiring the current network connection type of an intelligent terminal; when the current network connection type of the intelligent terminal is a data network, monitoring the uplink rate or the downlink rate of the data network in real time, and when the uplink rate or the downlink rate is greater than a threshold, generating a warning signal, and sending the same outward. The present invention predicts the traffic consumption created by a data network at a current network speed by means of monitoring the current network speed of the data network, thereby prompting a user to close a data network connection or change to a WiFi connection by means of the intelligent terminal issuing a traffic warning to a user.
