Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for monitoring a hydraulic hammer, and a system performing same. A monitoring system, according to one aspect of the present invention, comprises a hammer and a monitoring device. The hammer comprises: a piston for striking a chisel for crushing an object to be struck; a main body comprising a cylinder accommodating the piston; a striking condition detection sensor provided on one point of the main body and detecting the properties occurring upon the stroke; and a controller for controlling the stroke distance of the piston by means of the detection result of the sensor. The monitoring device comprises: an output unit for outputting information; a communication module for performing data transmission and reception with the controller; and a main control unit for calculating the number of strokes per hour and the accumulated number of strokes on the basis of the detection result of the sensor from the controller via the communication module.
