METHOD FOR MONITORING MOLD COOLING DUCT

A method for monitoring a mold cooling duct (2), relating to the technical field of molds, and comprising the following steps: S1. introducing a cooling liquid of a specific pressure into an inlet (3) of a mold cooling duct (2) to be monitored; S2. acquiring a measured flow value, within a specified time, of the cooling liquid at an outlet (4) of the mold cooling duct (2) to be monitored; S3. repeating said steps S1 and S2 at least once, so as to obtain several measured flow values, and using an averaged value of the measured flow values as a measured flow value; and S4. determining, by comparing the monitored flow value with a standard flow value, whether the mold cooling duct (2) to be monitored is qualified. In this invention, after the cooling liquid of a set pressure is introduced into a mold cooling duct (2) to be monitored, several measured flow values within a certain time are acquired, an averaged value of the measured flow values is used as a monitored flow value, and the monitored flow value is compared with the standard flow value, thereby quickly determining, in cases where the internal parts of the mold are not visible, whether the mold cooling duct to be monitored is qualified.
