Abstract:
According to the method, the mounting end (23) of each post (4) is put into abutment against the equipment (9) while positioning it on top (16) and the post (4) is fixed (22) in translation on the equipment in a zone (25) of the post (4) arranged between its two ends. Each mounting end (23) is mounted in abutment (16) on an upper positioning and abutting platen (9) of the equipment. Each post (4) is fixed in translation in a lower translation fixing platen (10). This invention applies well to dishwashing facility assembly frames.

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A method for mounting a frame type equipment (1) on posts (4) with a mounting end (23) and a laying end (24), characterized in that the mounting end (23) of each post (4) is put into abutment against the equipment (1, 9) while positioning it on top (1, 16) and the post (4) is fixed (22) in translation on the equipment in a zone (25) of the post (4) arranged between its two ends (23, 24), zone (25) which is fixed in rotation on the equipment.

2. A mounting method according to claim 1, wherein fixing in translation occurs removably.

3. A mounting method according to claim 2, wherein fixing in translation occurs through screwing.

4. A method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the posts (4) are fixed through pressing on their wall.

5. A method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the posts (4) are fixed through clamping of their wall.

6. Equipment (1) mounted on posts (4) with a mounting end

(23) and a laying end (24), characterized in that each mounting end (23) is mounted into abutment (16) on an upper equipment positioning and abutting platen (9), each post (4) being fixed in translation in a lower equipment translation fixing platen (10) in a zone (25) of the post (4) arranged between its two ends (23, 24), the platens (9, 10) being formed integrally with the equipment.

7. Equipment according to claim 7, wherein the positioning and abutting upper platens (9) and the lower translation fixing platens (10) are fitted on the equipment (1).

8. Equipment according to claim 8, wherein the platens

(9, 10) are riveted onto the equipment (1) .

9. Equipment according to any one of claims 6 to 8, wherein the posts (4) are tubular and the upper positioning and abutting platens (9) are stamped and form positioning annular lips (16) overlapped by the tubular mounting ends (23) of the posts (4).

10. Equipment according to any one of claims 6 to 9, wherein the lower translation fixing platens (10) are also rotation fixing platens of the posts (4) of the equipment .

11. Equipment according to claim 10, wherein the lower fixing platens (10) are arranged so as to receive a pressing screw (22) cooperating with the associated post (4) so as to fix it.

12. Equipment according to claim 10, wherein the lower fixing platens (10) are arranged so as to receive a clamping screw (28) cooperating through screwing with a threaded insert (26) fixed to the wall of their associated post (4) and clamping the post (4) and its fixing platen (10) one against the other.

Description:
METHOD FOR MOUNTING FRAME TYPE EQUIPMENT ON POSTS AND THE EQUIPMENT THUS MOUNTED

This invention relates to mounting on feet a frame or another similar element to be laid on the ground.

This invention results from a problem for on- foot mounting of a dishwashing facility assembly frame adapted to receive a dishwashing facility top, with the basins and draining counters thereof. A dishwashing facility is a kitchen equipment, more preferably, a Grand Cuisine equipment for cooking professionals. Obviously, the problem of this invention is present in a lot of other kitchen equipment, such as for example tables, or even in other sectors than kitchen, such as the building industry, the machine tool sector, etc.

Generally, a foot is welded to the element. Now, the problem that faces the Applicant is no longer welding feet and other posts, thus avoiding welding points with all the disadvantages thereof.

To this end, this invention first of all relates to a method for mounting a frame type equipment on posts with mounting end and laying end, characterized in that the mounting end of each post is put into abutment against the equipment while being positioned thereon and the post is fixed in translation on the equipment in a zone of the post arranged between its two ends, zone which is fixed in rotation on the equipment.

Thus, the abutment of the posts could be performed with no welding, as well as the translation fixing operation, that could be performed removably, through screwing or any similar means.

Advantageously, the translation fixing zone of the posts is also fixed in rotation on the equipment. Post fixing could be performed through pressing on the wall or through clamping the wall thereof.

This invention also relates to a piece of equipment mounted on posts with mounting end and laying end, characterized in that each mounting end is mounted into abutment on an upper equipment positioning and abutting platen, each post being fixed in translation in a lower equipment translation fixing platen in a zone of the post arranged between its two ends, the platens being formed integrally with the equipment. In a first embodiment of the equipment, the upper positioning and abutting platens and the lower translation fixing platens are arranged on the equipment, preferably riveted on it.

In another embodiment, the platens are formed integrally with the equipment, for example, with the side members of the equipment.

Preferably, the lower translation fixing platens are also rotation fixing platens of the posts on the equipment . In such a case, the translation and rotation fixing platens could be arranged so as to receive a pressing screw cooperating with their post so as to fix it in translation and in rotation.

But, more advantageously, each post comprises a threaded insert receiving, through screwing, a post clamping screw and clamping the fixing platen and the post thereof one against the other.

This invention will be better understood using the following description of several embodiments of equipment incorporating this invention, referring to the appended drawing, on which:

- Fig. 1 is a perspective exploded view of a kitchen dishwashing facility;

- Fig. 2 is an enlarged perspective view of the corner part A of the dishwashing facility assembly frame on Fig. 1;

- Fig. 3 is a sectional view of the upper positioning and abutting platen of one of the posts in the dishwashing facility on Fig. 1; - Fig. 4 is a simplified sectional view of a pair of positioning and fixing platens of a post in an equipment side member integral with the platens; and

- Fig. 5 is a sectional view of an alternative embodiment of the frame and one of the posts of the dishwashing facility, clamped on the frame.

The equipment that will be now described, as well as the method for mounting it on its base, i.e. on its feet or posts by means of which it is intended to be laid on the ground, is a so-called Grand Cuisine equipment for professionals, in this case a dishwashing facility, for doing the washing-up.

This is a piece of equipment with three part types, an assembly frame 1, a dishwashing facility top 2 and a base 3, with four feet or posts 4. The dishwashing facility top 2 here comprises two basins 5 and two draining counters 6.

The posts 4 are here tubular elements. The assembly frame 1 here comprises a front side member 7 and two side cross-pieces 8. At both front corners formed by the side frame 7 and both cross-pieces 8, as well as at the back of both cross-pieces, there are fixed sets of mounting platens of the base that will now be described.

Each mounting set comprises an upper positioning and abutting platen 9 and a lower translation and rotation fixing platen 10. These are overall square platens respectively fixed one on top of the other, on the top part 11 and the bottom part 12 of the cross- pieces, at the back of them, as well as on the top part 13 and the bottom part 14 of the side member, as far as the corner sets are concerned. Such platens are fixed by means of rivets and comprise riveting holes 15 on both adjacent sides of the platens. They project towards the interior of the cross-pieces and the side member. The upper platens 9 are stamped so as to form an annular positioning lip 16 for the axis 17 extending towards the lower associated platen 10 with a section, in its low part 18, substantially lower than that of the tubular feet 4 (Fig. 3) . The lower platens 10, as far as they are concerned, are perforated with a circular hole 19, having the same axis 17 as the lip 16 of the associated platen 9, so as to allow for a foot 4 to pass through.

The lower platens 10 comprise a corner 20 lifted at right angle and perforated with a hole 21 for screwing a pressing screw 22 in said hole, such screw being intended to press against a foot 4 for immobilizing it in translation and in rotation with respect to the relevant lower platen.

The feet or posts 4 comprise an (upper) mounting end 23 and a (lower) laying end 24.

The mounting of the pivoting system 3 on the frame 1 will be now described.

When the upper 9 and lower 10 platens are manufactured, these are riveted onto the cross-pieces 8 and the side member 7 of the frame. For each post 4 and each set of mounting platens 9, 10, the post 4 is first threaded via its mounting end 23 into the hole 19 of the lower platen 10 until its tubular mounting end 23 overlaps the lip 16 of the upper platen and abuts against its exterior wall, thus positioning the foot 4 in a high position.

Also positioned in an intermediary part 25, between its two ends 23, 24, in the hole 19 of the lower platen 10, the screw 22 is screwed into the hole 21 of the lifted corner 20 of the platen 10 so as to press the zone 25 of the post 4 against the wall of the crossing hole 19 and thus immobilize the latter in translation and in rotation.

It should be noticed that the feet 4 are mounted on the dishwashing facility frame 1 with no welding and that these are perfectly removable.

Alternatively, the upper 9 and lower 10 platens could be formed integrally with the equipment the case being (Fig. 4) . In another alternative, as shown on Fig. 5, the feet are no longer fixed by a pressing screw exerting a pressure on their wall, but by a clamping screw 28 screwed into a threaded insert 26 fixed to the wall of each post. Thus, a foot 4, between its two ends 23, 24, is perforated with a hole 27 wherein there is introduced a threaded insert 26 with an axis orthogonal to that of the post and fixed to the wall of the foot here through welding. The insert 26 comprises a small annular rim 29 pressed to the wall of the post so as to ensure a perfect fixing. After the foot 4 has been slid, by its end 23, through the hole 19 of the lower platen 10 until reaching an abutment against the upper platen 9, the annular lip 16 plunging inside the end 23 of the foot 4, the foot 4 is rotated until the threaded insert 26 is opposite the hole 21 of the lifted corner 20 of the lower platen 10. Then, the screw 28 is introduced through the corner 20 and is screwed into the insert 26 to clamp the foot in translation and in rotation, the wall of the foot and the lifted corner of the upper fixing platen being clamped one against the other.

A dishwashing facility top with two arms and two draining counters has been described. It could also be anticipated only one basin and one draining counter.

Pressing and clamping screws have been described for fixing the feet to the lower fixing platens of the equipment. It is to be clearly understood that these could be translation or translation-rotation fixing platens and that these could be platens formed integrally with the equipment or arranged on the equipment.
