Abstract:
A method for mounting a main engine bedplate and a gearbox bedplate at a block erection stage, which is used for mounting the main engine bedplate and the gearbox bedplate on a bottom block, comprising the following steps: fabricating in sections the main engine bedplate and the gearbox bedplate; welding at proper positions assemblies and sub-assemblies of a bottom of an engine room to erect a bottom block; repeatedly measuring horizontal data of a bottom plate in the bottom block; surveying and delimiting placing lines and corresponding datum lines of the main engine bedplate and the gearbox bedplate on the bottom plate in the bottom block; erecting marker posts (B) at rib positions of the bottom plate in the bottom block, close to the main engine bedplate and the gearbox bedplate, respectively, and marking a height of an axis; hoisting and locating the main engine bedplate and the gearbox bedplate; horizontally adjusting the bedplates to determine an underside allowance, and cutting the allowance; hoisting the main engine bedplate and the gearbox bedplate back to the previous position; tack welding and assembling the bedplates, and reporting for an inspection; constructing according to a welding process and monitoring panel data of the main engine bedplate and the gearbox bedplate; and staying lines for inspection and performing local distortion correction by use of flame. The method can solve the problems of long mounting period in a shipyard, harsh field operation environment, and failure to advance the operation of sighting and boring.
