Abstract:
A method of moving carriage carrying carriages (6) within a warehouse is performed by a plurality of driving chains installed inside the floor of the warehouse. The chains (9) are supported by sprockets (10) in a generally rectangular configuration next to the path of the carriages (6). The chains (9) have each have roller rods (11) mounted thereon at spaces step equal to the one between the carriages (9). The roller rods (11) enter longitudinal grooves (18) on the bottom of a carriage to move the carriage along its path.
