Abstract:
A method of multi-carrier time division duplex mobile communication system allocating radio resource, for example TD-SCDMA system realizing radio resource (channel) allocation within a cell that operates with multi-carrier, overcomes the shortcoming of utilizing 3GPP standard single carrier cell channel allocation technique at the time of composing cellular system, and covering larger zone. The method includes: regarding a zone served by multi-carrier base station its covering being same or substantially same as a cell; selecting a carrier as primary carrier within the cell, regarding other carrier as sub-carrier and making the frequency of primary carrier used by adjacent base stations different at furthest at the time of selecting primary carrier; arranging all public control channels on primary carrier, surplus resource on the carrier and sub-carrier resource being used as uplink and downlink service channels. The arrangement of common control channel on primary carrier is the same as channel allocation in single carrier cell. The method can improve system efficiency and capacity , and reduce interference in system, and facilitate terminal accessing without adding additional cost and complexity.:
