The present invention discloses a method for pairing and controlling multiple electronic devices. One aspect of the pairing and controlling method in accordance with the present invention comprises: a registration step in which information on a counterpart device is stored in both a first electronic device and a second electronic device; a step in which the first electronic device broadcasts a control signal comprising target device information and operation information; a checking step in which the second electronic device, which has received the control signal, checks whether or not the first electronic device corresponds with a registered device, and checks whether or not the target device information corresponds with the second electronic device; and an operation performing step in which the second electronic device performs an operation according to the control signal if the matters in the checking step correspond with one another. According to the present invention, a user can pair desired devices without having to directly manipulate target electronic devices or install a separate intermediation device for pairing. In addition, every electronic device may act as a master or act as a slave according to the user's selection, and thus convenience for use is improved and the application range of electronic devices is increased.
