Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for detecting nerves, wherein the method is characterized by comprising the following steps (1) to (4). Step (1): a step for irradiating a sample with excitation light; step (2): a step for detecting Raman scattering light coming from the sample; step (3): a step for either calculating the intensity ratio of a wave number within a specific range for the Raman scattering light detected in step (2), or for extracting and running a multivariate analysis and/or statistical analysis of a feature of the intensity ratio; and step (4): a step for specifically displaying nerves, including unmyelinated nerves, using as an index the intensity ratio or the result from the multivariate analysis and/or statistical analysis.
