Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method (400) in a network node for packet based synchronization. The method (400) includes: receiving (410) from a first upstream node a first message indicating a first accumulated Packet Delay, PD, measurement between a first source clock node and the first upstream node; receiving (420) from a second upstream node a second message indicating a second accumulated PD measurement between a second source clock node and the second upstream node; monitoring (430) a first link PD measurement between the first upstream node and the network node and a second link PD measurement between the second upstream node and the network node; determining (440) a first PD measurement based on the first accumulated PD measurement and the first link PD measurement and determining a second PD measurement based on the second accumulated PD measurement and the second link PD measurement; and selecting (450) one of the first and second source clock nodes for synchronization, based at least partially on the first PD measurement and the second PD measurement.
