Abstract:
A method, a network side device, and a terminal device for switching a communication mode are provided. The method comprises: receiving a measurement report transmitted by a first terminal device (203, 403); if the measurement report comprises event instruction information, determining a second V2X service of a second terminal device (204, 404); and transmitting a mode switching instruction to a V2X control function (205), or transmitting a first update authorization parameter to the second terminal device (206, 405), the mode switching instruction being configured to instruct the V2X control function to switch a communication mode of the second V2X service of the second terminal device to a second communication mode, and the first update authorization parameter being configured to instruct the second terminal device to switch the communication mode of the second V2X service to the second communication mode. By employing the method, the network side device, and the terminal device, a communication mode of a second V2X service is switched from a first communication mode to a second communication mode, and wireless resources for transmitting a first V2X service using a first communication mode are scheduled for the first V2X service.
