Abstract:

A method for managing charging includes: after the way of UE accessing PDN GW is transformed from the first way to the second way, receiving the request including the second type of accounting. According to the accounting request, controlling the accounting quota under the accounting mode corresponded with the first way of UE accessing PDN GW and preserving the accounting quota of the second type of accounting session according to the accounting mode corresponded with the second way of UE accessing PDN GW. In addition, a network system, PDN GW and accounting system are disclosed, which are used to manage the accounting under the situation that the way of UE accessing PDN GW is switched.
