Abstract:
A method of obtaining N-allyl-2-pyridinaldoxime bromide consists in reacting alpha-pyridinaldoxime with allyl bromide in a medium of dimethylsulfoxide or dimethylformamide at a temperature of 40-60°C with subsequent extraction of the desired product. The obtained N-allyl-2-pyridinaldoxime bromide is used in the medical field as an active component of an antidote for phosphororganic compound poisoning.
