Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for operating a device (1) characterized in that it comprises the following steps, performed by a processing unit (11) of the device (1): receiving (a) a message signaling an incoming phone call from a calling party via a server (2); generating (b) a ringing message comprising at least one additional parameter specifying an enriched ring-back tone to be played, as a function of at least a status information available to said device (1); and transmitting (c1) said ringing message to the server (2) for playing to the calling party said enriched ring-back tone.
