Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for operating a freshwater production device that makes it possible to maintain a stable water output volume and quality even when natural energy, which provides an unstable electrical power supply, is used as the main power. A method for operating a freshwater production device in order to obtain fresh water from water to be treated obtained by mixing at least two types of raw water having different solute concentrations in a semi-permeable membrane unit (8) by using at least natural energy as a power source (12), wherein fresh water is obtained through controlling the mixing ratio of the two types of raw water (1a, 1b) and adjusting the solute concentration in the water to be treated, in accordance with the power generated using the natural energy.
