Abstract:
A method of operating an intermediate-fraction hydrofining reactor, in which an intermediate fraction among Fischer-Tropsch synthesis hydrocarbons synthesized by the FT synthesis reaction is hydrofined and hydroisomerized, the fraction comprising components having a boiling point range corresponding to that of gas oil.  The method comprises: a step in which the intermediate fraction is brought into contact with a catalyst to hydrofine and hydroisomerize the fraction and thereby obtain a hydrofined intermediate fraction; a step in which the hydrofined intermediate fraction flowing out of the intermediate-fraction hydrofining reactor is examined for cloud point; and a step in which the operating conditions of the intermediate-fraction hydrofining reactor are regulated so that the cloud point comes to a given predetermined value.
