Abstract:
Provided is a method for operating a power supply unit 202 for a suction device 100. This method includes: a step in which a puff operation by a user is detected by a sensor 212; a step in which a detection time being a puff operation period in which the detected puff operation has continued is measured; a step in which and the measured detection time is corrected, using a time correction model on the basis of characteristic parameters associated to the puff operation; a step in which corrected detection times are accumulated and an accumulated detection time is calculated; and a step in which a residual level for the suction component source is estimated, on the basis of the residual detection time.
