Abstract:
A method for optimizing a flash memory chip and a related device. The method allows: while a service of the flash memory chip is in operation, hanging up some channels in a NAND flash interface (NFI) bus of the flash memory chip; determining in the channels being hanged up channels to be optimized for which optimization is necessary; determining, on the basis of training data of the channels to be optimized, an optimization parameter for said channels; and optimizing said channels on the basis of the optimization parameter for said channels. The technical solution described above allows the optimization of some channels in the NFI bus while the flash memory chip is in normal operation. In other words, the other channels can remain in a normal working state. As such, the optimization of the channels of the NFI bus can be implemented without unmounting a drive.
