Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for oxidizing alcohols, wherein it is possible to efficiently oxidize primary alcohols and secondary alcohols and to achieve high reaction efficiency even when air is used as the bulk oxidant. Specifically disclosed is a method for performing oxidization in the presence of a compound represented by formula (I) and a bulk oxidant.
