Abstract:
Provided according to the present invention is an electronic device which performs a beamforming method during a tilt operation. The electronic device comprises: first and second array antennas which are disposed at different locations of the electronic device; and a control unit which determines whether a motion due to a tilt operation of the electronic device about at least one axis occurs during communication via the first array antenna and, upon the occurrence of the motion, performs communication via the first array antenna or the second array antenna. Therefore, when a tilt event occurs due to movement and rotation of the electronic device, optimal antenna selection and an optimal beamforming method according to the tilt direction and angle can be provided.
