Abstract:
A method for performing voice recognition by an electronic device, and an electronic device, which relate to the technical field of terminals, and can improve the flexibility of a terminal performing voice instruction recognition locally. The method comprises: converting a received voice instruction into text; then performing field recognition on the text by means of at least two sub-field classifiers to obtain a field recognition result, wherein the field recognition result is used for representing the field to which the text belongs; and then processing the text by means of a dialogue engine corresponding to the field to which the text belongs, so as to determine a function that needs to be executed by an electronic device corresponding to the text. The present invention is applicable to a voice recognition process.
