Abstract:
The present invention is applicable to the technical field of robots, and provides a method for positioning a robot charging pile, and a robot, said method comprising: receiving reflected light obtained from an emitting light source; determining, according to the intensity information of the reflected light, the time information of receiving the reflected light, and a preset determination condition, whether the reflected light is target reflected light reflected by a charging pile; and if the reflected light is the target reflected light reflected by the charging pile, determining the position information of the charging pile in the coordinate system according to the light information of the target reflected light and the position information of a robot in a preset coordinate system. By receiving and determining the light information of the target reflected light, and calculating the position information of the charging pile according to the light information and the position information of the robot, the robot can accurately search for and determine the position of the charging pile, thereby improving the accuracy and efficiency of the charging process of the robot.
