Abstract:
A method for positioning a welding clamp includes: a first step for defining a reference clamp position in a first work (STEP 2); a second step for setting a first work state during welding and determining the presence or absence of portions in the first work exceeding a prescribed amount of warping (STEPs 3-5); and a third step for defining this portion as an additional clamp position when, in the second step, it is determined that such a portion exists (STEP 6). By repeating the second step and the third step until the second step determines that such a portion does not exist, a clamp position where warping exceeding a prescribed amount does not occur in the work to be welded is appropriately defined while keeping the number of such clamps low.
