Title:
METHOD FOR PRECONDITIONING LATENT HEAT STORAGE ELEMENTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/094995
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for preconditioning at least one latent heat storage element (7), which is arranged in a thermally insulated, closed container (1) having a space for accommodating goods to be transported, wherein the latent heat storage element (7) has a target temperature preferably slightly in excess of 0°C. In such an arrangement, it is particularly practical for the accommodation space in the container (1) to be filled with a certain amount of coolant (9), particularly water ice, and for the container (1) to be closed, and for the latent heat storage element (7) located in the container (1) thus to be cooled to its target temperature.
