Title:
METHOD FOR PREDICTING EFFECTIVENESS OF CHEMOTHERAPY IN BREAST CANCER PATIENTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/097614
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for predicting the effectiveness of chemotherapy in breast cancer patients and, more specifically, to a method for measuring an expression level of prognostic prediction genes and normalization genes of breast cancer in biological samples obtained from breast cancer patients, normalizing the measurement results, and classifying the patients into a group predicted to have high effectivess and a group predicted to have low effectiveness of chemotherapy. The method of the present invention allows for accurate prediction of the effectiveness of chemotherapy for breast cancer patients, and may be effectively used for the purpose of suggesting clues towards the future direction of breast cancer treatment.
