Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to measure an s(P)RR in a living body and/or provide a method for predicting pregnancy-induced hypertension. In the present invention, it becomes possible to measure an s(P)RR in a living body by constructing a mouse monoclonal antibody using a silkworm-originated high-purity recombinant human (P)RR as an antigen. An ELISA system using the antibody of the present invention enables for the first time the measurement of an s(P)RR in a living body which cannot be measured previously, and provides an important measurement means for elucidating the relationship between an s(P)R and a disease. The present invention also relates to a method for predicting pregnancy-induced hypertension in the middle stage and the late stage of pregnancy, which comprises measuring the concentration of an s(P)RR in an early stage of pregnancy using the measurement system of the present invention.
