Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for predicting the lifetime of corrosion-resistant steel for a desulfurization equipment, comprising: the preparation step of loading a specimen inside a chamber; the hot air injection step of allowing hot air to pass through the chamber; the sulfuric acid spray step of spraying a sulfuric acid solution into the chamber; the water spray step of spraying water into the chamber; and the corrosion lifetime prediction step of measuring the decrease in weight of the specimen, thereby predicting the corrosion lifetime thereof, wherein the sulfuric acid solution at the sulfuric acid spray step comprises 5-20 vol% of sulfuric acid, and 80-95 vol% of water. According to the present invention, it is possible to quantitatively measure the corrosion lifetime of corrosion-resistant steel in a desulfurization equipment by sufficiently reflecting differently from a conventional simple dipping test various corrosion elements such as the operation and stoppage state of a desulfurization equipment, the location of steel in a desulfurization equipment, the flow rate of sulfuric acid air, temperature and the like.
