Abstract:
Provided are a method for predicting relationship between a gene and a transcriptional element and an apparatus therefor. A method for predicting relationship between a gene and a transcriptional element according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: setting, as an objective function, a function for minimizing the prediction error of a mathematical model that predicts a change in the expression level of a gene on the basis of the degree of influence of the transcriptional element on the gene; and calculating a value of a determinant variable to minimize the value of the objective function by using the measurement data on the change in the expression level of the gene.
