Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for predicting a two-dimensional flame spreading velocity, and provides the method for predicting a two-dimensional flame spreading velocity, the method calculating a radiant heat flux, which is transferred by flames, for a non-combustion point of a fuel layer so as to enable the spreading velocity of flames spreading in a two-dimensional manner on a surface of the fuel layer to be predicted by using the radiant heat flux, thereby predicting the spreading velocity of flames in every direction on the surface of the fuel layer when a fire such as a forest fire breaks out, and thus, since an actual flame spreading state can be more accurately implemented and predicted, a fire can be more quickly and effectively suppressed.
