Abstract:
Method of prediction of gestational diabetes mellitus including both its milder and more severe form. Pregnant women are screened to determine the expression profile of two or more miRNAs in whole peripheral venous blood collected in the period of 10th–13th gestational week, whereas said two or more miRNAs are selected from the group miR-1-3p, miR-20a-5p, miR-20b-5p, miR-23a-3p, miR-100-5p, miR-125b-5p, miR-126-3p, miR-181a-5p, miR-195-5p, miR-499a-5p, and miR-574-3p.
